The State Legislature and Governor have approved the budget amendment to allow Vote by Mail until March 31, 2021 - which includes the March 2, 2021 Town Election

 
 
Mail-in Ballot Applications

  • Completed vote by mail application forms, with a signature, may be emailed (elections@wellesleyma.gov), dropped in the Elections & Payment Drop Box outside of Town Hall, or mailed (Office of the Town Clerk, Wellesley Town Hall, 525 Washington Street, Wellesley MA 02482).​​​​

  • Mail-in Ballot requests must be received by Town Hall by Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 5:00 pm.

 
Vote-by-Mail Ballot Receipt and Voting

  • Vote-by-Mail Ballots will be mailed to voters upon request. Ballots for the March 2, 2021 Town Election are estimated to be mailed out starting February 16, 2021.

  • If you require the ballot to be mailed out of Wellesley, please allow sufficient time for mailing in both directions (generally allow 10 mailing days for a ballot to go out of Wellesley and be returned).

  • Completed Vote-by-Mail ballots may be dropped off at the Elections and Payment Drop Box outside of Town Hall (across from the bell). ​​

  • To be counted, Vote-by-Mail ballots must be returned to Town Hall Elections and Payment Drop Box no later than March 2nd, 2021 at 8:00 pm

  • Vote-by-Mail ballots may not be returned to in-person polling locations.

  • Voters who apply for, but do not receive a ballot, or who receive a ballot but do not return it can still vote in person.

 
​​​​​Voting on Election Day - March 2nd, 2021

All precincts will be open for in-person voting on March 2nd, 2021 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

 

Due to Coronavirus concerns, polling locations for some precincts have changed. 

The Board of Selectmen voted on August 4, 2020 to locate the polling locations at non-school sites. The locations and links to Town of Wellesley files with further information about each site are below.

  • Precincts A (Bates), B (Sprague) and C (Upham) are moving to the Municipal Light Plant at 4 Municipal Way.

  • Precincts D (Schofield) and E (Fiske) are moving to the Warren Building at 90 Washington Street.

There are NO CHANGES at the other precincts:

  • Precinct G will vote at the Wellesley Free Library at 530 Washington Street.

  • Precinct H will vote at the Tolles Parsons Center - Council on Aging at 500 Washington Street.
